compiled by Debbie Beer. Hear of surprises, trends, etc., in this century-long
census of our resident birdlife. We will then adjourn for socializing over
snacks and drinks, organized by Bonnie and Phil Witmer.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

chose to receive their notices by e-mail should have received them on Saturday.
Please note that the dues have been raised beginning in 2010. Also we ask that
you consider donating to the Conservation Fund and to the Witmer Stone
Sanctuary Initiative when you pay your dues. The Treasurer, Bert Filemyr, will
be at the January 7th Annual Members Meeting and is more than willing to accept

DVOC is proud to announce that $3994.90 was raised this year for 2009
Conservation Fund. While most of these funds were raised in conjunction with
the World Series of Birding other contributions were made in memory of members
who passed away this past year (John Billings and John Miller). All funds have
been transferred to the Willistown Conservation Trust, the 2009 recipient of
the Conservation Fund.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

Location: Peace Valley Nature Center, 170 N Chapman Rd, Doylestown, PA 18901 ,
8:30 AM The trip will split our attention between waterfowl, gulls and
passerines. We will be targeting such birds as Cackling Goose, Lesser
Black-backed Gull, Fox Sparrow and other overwintering species. Whether you're
new to photography or a pro, you're welcome on this trip. I will be shooting
almost exclusively with a Digital SLR and 300mm lens. Digiscopers and more
traditional photographers are both welcome, and we'll do our best to find some
subjects for everyone. If interested, contact Steve Kacir and let him know
whether you'll be digiscoping or just using a camera. Some information about
your lens will also help in planning our approach to this trip. In case of foul
weather the trip will be rescheduled. The trip will last half a day. This DVOC
