[DVOC] Photographers: Slide Contest at DVOC on December 18

December 18th? What, has Program Director Frank
Windfelder finally gone off the deep end? It's not
even summer yet,and he's worried about a Slide Contest
near Christmas? There must be some method to his
madness!

Actually, he just wants to PREPARE YOU for a great
event, our upcoming DVOC slide contest.

The four categories are: Birds, Birders, Natural
History, and Scenery. In the fall, Frank will request
submissions (digital only please!) to be entered in
the contest.

Prizes will be awarded!

Do you have great photos already? How about all that
great stuff you're going to get this summer?

A new non-contest category this year will be a photo
ID quiz, to be done while we await the judges'
decisions on the 4 contest winners. Do you have a
photo that might challenge the ID skills of top-notch
DVOC birders,such as Chris Walters ?
