"I got into birding, camping and hiking with my parents at a young age. I was raised to respect nature and also a utilitarian knowledge of flora and fauna. Since then, my interest in biology and ecology has grown, as has my interest in birding matured. In the near future I plan to go back to school for a degree in conservation biology or ecological sciences. I have been birding in Peru and Kenya."
