“ I grew up in Sunken City, NJ, near Sandy Hook. I had a casual interest in birding through my college years in Iowa. My five children and nine grandchildren kept me busy and happy most of my adult life. I really caught the birding bug in 2005. I’m a so-so birder but I do love it.
