- "Honestly, I have to admit, I don't see myself as a true birder. I have been a photographer for 40 years, and within the last 6 or 7 years, I have become very interested in photographing birds of prey. My wife and I have been actively feeding the birds in our backyard for over 21 years, and we've rescued a few goldfinches by taking htem to the AARK rehabilitation facility in Doylestown. I belong to the Churchville Nature Center, and am a supporting member of the Delaware Valley Raptor Center in Milford, and the Eagle Institute in Barryville, NY. I travel frequently to Bombay Hook NWR, Forsythe NWR, and make regular winter trips tot he Delaware Water Gap and the lower Hudson River valley for viewing Bald Eagles."
